This project aims to map, understand and analyze the social sciences landscape in Canada. In particular, we try to theorize and explain the current configuration of social sciences in Canada. Moreover, we hope the theory that we develop can be applied beyond the Canadian context.

Using a unique longitudinal dataset collected by François Lachapelle and Patrick Burnett, this project aims to understand the current trends, development and practices of social sciences in Canada. It especially focuses at the disciplinary level, especially Economics, Political Science and Sociology.
