International Relations Theories and Grand Strategies 

As research in general, including research on international relations, is becoming narrower and narrower, many people focus on very niche topics. However, we should not forget about the big picture and visions. It is the big-picture perspective that first makes me interested in international relations, not pigeonholing narrow topics.

Thus, my research focuses mainly on two areas: International Relations (IR) Theories (e.g., Emerging Chinese IR Theories) and Grand Strategies.

In particular, I look at how different epistemologies, ontologies and cosmologies how people understand, think and feel about international relations.
